The purpose of this meeting is to provide an update to community stakeholders about the progress and future plans of Higher Expectations for Racine County. This event is intended to strengthen our partnerships within our community by celebrating our collective work, creating sustainable commitments to the work and inspire new interest in joining our efforts.
With a new president of the College and a new board chair, the Trustees will spend time reviewing, reconsidering, and rethinking their individual roles as Trustees, and their collective role as the governing board.

This two-day workshop will bring together mid and high-level representatives from a range of domestic environmental NGOs, along with some representatives from social justice and development NGOs and participants representing an international perspective. The meeting is designed to bring participants more fully into the rapidly evolving conversation about proposed carbon removal technologies, including near-term decisions about research and advocacy agendas.
