Sponsors:
The Racine Collaborative for Children's Mental Health
Goals:

Children and youth with mental health challenges face real barriers when it comes to getting the help they need. As a result, many children struggle through daily activities, fall short academically, and act out in ways that get them in trouble at school or with the juvenile justice system. One solution gaining traction in communities across the country brings mental health services directly to children where they spend much of their time – in schools. Please join us as experts Mark Sander and Karen Johnston discuss the need for school-based services as well as approaches, challenges and outcomes associated with delivering mental health services in schools.
